Class Description: 

If you’re ready to go vegan (or more vegan), Vegan Nutrition Boot Camp will provide you with easy-to-understand and in-depth information about the foundations of plant-based nutrition. And you’ll learn how to choose the right vegan foods to ensure you’re getting the essential nutrients you need each day. By the end of the boot camp, you’ll know exactly what to eat for optimal nutrition. And you’ll have the confidence to move forward on your healthy vegan journey.

Here’s What We’ll Cover:

  • Building Blocks of Plant-based Nutrition
  • Plant Protein vs. Animal Protein
  • Iron, Calcium, B12, Vitamin D and Other Essential Nutrients
  • Acid and Alkaline Balance
  • Healthy and Unhealthy Fats and Oils
  • Healthy and Unhealthy Carbs
  • Why the Color of Your Food Matters
  • Reading Food Labels and Health Claims the Right Way
  • Creating Well-balanced Meals

That amounts to three and a half solid hours of nutrition information. That’s more than the average medical student receives in her entire four years in medical school. Most receive less than three hours of nutrition information of any kind. So by the end of the boot camp, you’ll know more about nutrition than your doctor.

Boot Camp Also Includes:

  • 4 weekly calls, 50 minutes each, that you can listen to live by phone or computer
  • Detailed PowerPoint slides for each class
  • An MP3 recording of each class
