I took an Indian cooking class this past Sunday with Levita Mondie of Vita’s Eatery in DC. We made dal, samosas, bengali-style vegetables, naan, apricot chutney, and mango lassi. Eight of us made these dishes from scratch, with Levita gently guiding the way. Everything was deelish and it was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. And since I love Indian food, now I can stuff myself silly at home anytime!
