We are having Tofurky, creamy mashed potatoes (using Earth Balance spread), curried black eyed peas and okra, dressing, sweet potato pie with vegan ice cream, and for beverage - a grape juice and ginger ale mocktail. For breakfast that morning, we are enjoying vegan banana apple muffins with coffee and juice. My vegan sister and I just confirmed the menu. And to honor so called turkey day I adopted 2 turkeys from a sanctuary in NY. farmsanctuary.org is a great place to adopt a turkey from, and at only $30 dollars each, a bargain and the turkey will love you for it.
