Our food demo at DC VegFest a few weeks ago was featured in a brief NBC 4 News clip about the festival. You can see it here. That’s my mom standing next me, serving as my lovely assistant. We’ll be posting the actual food demo on my blog and youtube shortly. Meanwhile, back at VegFest, I got to meet bodybuilder Kenneth Williams (that’s his picture with this blog). Kenneth was super nice and also happens to be the world’s first vegan bodybuilding champion. You can watch him being interviewed at VegFest here. Several folks that day talked about bringing this kind of vegan/green festival to Howard University. If you’re interested in working toward this goal, drop me a line. It’s definitely a worthy project.
