Yesterday I did the cover photo shoot for my book By Any Greens Necessary, which is coming out on May 1, 2010. Very, very exciting! I was nervous, giddy, tired, and thrilled all at once. We literally had two days to pull this shoot together–clothes, hair, jewelry, photographer, make-up artist, everything. It was an adventure, but we made it happen! We also took a family photo with my mom, my niece (who’s 4), and me for the back cover. Three generations of vibrant vegans-it was beautiful! We took some of the photos in Grant Circle Park, around the corner from where I grew up, so that was magical. I feel like I’ve come full circle. I can’t wait for you to see them!

Book photo shoot sounds interesting. I did one yesterday for a cookbook. And it was so much fun clicking. Good luck to you and your book.
