I hope you had a great Memorial Day holiday last weekend. I picked organic strawberries on Claggett Farm in MD. My first time picking fruit on a farm (thanks to my girl Carolyn Woods!). So much fun–and the strawberries are sooo delicious!! Can’t wait to go back!
Now, on to this week’s topic…
What I Use On My Hair
Veganism for me goes way beyond food. I love vegan and cruelty free clothes, shoes, cosmetics, and skin care products, too.
I often get asked what I use on my hair, so I thought I’d share my favorite brand of hair care products with you.
It’s Divinity Veganatural.
They make a Nirvana Hemp Hair Oil that I just love. It’s made from fair trade, raw, unrefined shea nut butter; organic hemp seed oil; sage; lavender; rosemary; and ylang ylang essential oils.
I’ve been using it for years. I just put a little dab on my fingers, rub it on my hair and I’m done. (A 9-ounce jar usually lasts me for several months.)
Another reason I love Divinity Veganatural–in addition to their high-quality ingredients–is their wonderful story.
They’re a small, family-run, home-based business in Takoma Park, MD (right in my local area) that started making their own vegan skin care products to treat their newborn daughter’s eczema.
They still hand-make each small batch to order and their customer service is outstanding. (A huge loyalty booster for me.)
So that’s what I use to keep my hair looking beautiful, like this!
Have a great weekend!
